This section contains copies of my photos from India to give you a full report on this incredible journey. The trip was completely unlike anything I could have predicted, as I was forewarned by so many of my friends, especially those who have been to India. In the first couple of days I had to let go of any expectations and surrender to the unfolding events.

Even after all this time, the sights, sounds, smells tastes and feelings and impressions of being with 150,000 people from all over the world are still with us. The opportunity to spend time with the remarkable Tibetan people and with tens of thousands of Buddhist monks and nuns was extraordinary.

All beings are equal in desiring happiness and averting suffering.

His Holiness The Dalai Lama

I am grateful to Tara and Seamus for providing me with a press pass. I could not have taken any photos without the pass. Since I had the pass I was able to go almost anywhere and I had great access to being close to His Holiness the Dalai Lama for all days of the ceremony. And I am so glad I was able to share this amazing event with my wife, Amethyst.
