Amethyst and I didn’t get to Wooden Shoe, our favorite tulip garden this year. By the time we got there the line of automobiles to get on the highway was so long we just kept going. However, on our way home from our last stop in Lincoln City we pulled into a small nursery which had several acres of tulips. Some were on their way out, but we enjoyed the frenzy of color against the background of our tiny window of blue sky.
