Witches Ball Portland, 2016
It was a great success, especially for a new event. Several hundred people attended and listened to awesome music, watched great dance and burlesque performances, sampled great food and drink and shopped among some wonderful vendors.
We ended up taking over 650 photos and then sorted them into 43 galleries. Many people came back multiple times in small groups. Please enjoy the photo galleries here. Enlarge them as big as your screen to see the creative and beautiful and fun and sassy people who attended.
And we recommend you attend next year on October 7, 2017. We hope to have a new and improved booth next year.

Bilgerats & Pyrettes

Miriam - Belly Dance
Miriam’s dance resume includes many years of Ballet, Bellydance, and various forms of contemporary dance beginning at a very young age.A Portland native, she began her Bellydance studies as a young teenager in Persian & Egyptian Bellydance with Fariba Mohammadyar (of Majestic Bellydance), in her glamorous, candle-lit studio in downtown Portland!
With a classically trained dance background Rummy Rose has been grinding the Burlesque stages of Portland and beyond for over 6 years with her dark lady style and wicked sense of humor. With captivating eyes and long luscious locks this amazonian woman will enchant you from the back of the room. Here to break your heart and seal it with a kiss. Portland’s rock and roll rebel.
Gypsy Heart Tribal
Gypsy Heart Tribal is a community of gifted and accomplished dancers from Portland who share a powerful feminine spirit through their unique improvisational style of belly dance. Carol Vance is the Director and lead choreographer. With roots in cultures around the world, we communicate and celebrate life through dance, just as women have been doing since ancient times.Gypsy Heart Tribal is passionate about sharing the beauty of their dance form, taking you on a journey as old as time, as new as this moment.
A little bit naughty and a little bit nice, T’aint Misbehavin’ has been teasing and titillating audiences in the Pacific NW with her burlesque and singing performances for the last several years. A singer, dancer and hooper, her bewitching ways and bawdy charm will cast a spell on your funny bone and deliver a night of enchantment you won’t soon forget. A graduate of the All That Glitters School of Burlesque, T’aint has performed classic burlesque and vaudeville performances at such venues as The Paper Moon Cabaret and Dante’s.
